SPARC - Strategic Pathways for Life Science Careers

SPARC (Strategic Pathways for Life Science Careers) supports our PhD students and postdocs in their career advancement. The programme is open to all PhD students in the International PhD Programme (IPP) and postdocs in the IMB Postdoc Programme (IPPro) and aimes to prepare young researchers for success in their future careers.

If you are a member of the IPP or IPPro you can join SPARC to benefit from tailored career training and support:

  • Individual assessment of your competences and values.
  • Career coaching and support in devising your Individual Development Plan (IDP) and set SMART goals.
  • One-on-one career mentoring to guide you in your career journey.
  • Workshops & career events to develop relevant skills.
  • Peer-meetings and on-site visits at companies to learn about other career paths and strenghten your professional network.
